Course description
Our course offers the unique opportunity to learn the traditional system of Tibetan medicine (Sowa Rigpa) from authentic Tibetan doctors (= Amchi). This knowledge can be profitably integrated both in the private sector and in the professional environment and applied practically for health promotion.
The holistic system of traditional Tibetan medicine (Sowa Rigpa, short: TTM) originated in Tibet as a synthesis of originally Tibetan and other healing systems. The “Tantras of Tibetan Medicine” (tib: rgyud bzhi) are the most important textual basis and still serve as the basis for study today. The course therefore also provides a deep insight into Tibetan culture and and the “Tibetan way of life”.
Anyone is welcome to join! There are no prerequisites. Your teachers will be traditional Tibetan Amchis, alongside other experienced and qualified teachers. Language of instruction is English with German translation.
