H.E. Kyabje Ganden Tri Rinpoche Lobsang Tenzin is the 104th throne holder of Ganden, supreme head of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism and the direct successor of Lama Je Tsongkhapa.
The position of Ganden Tripa is not given through a hereditary process or that of a reincarnation line, but through excellence in the fields of scholarship and spiritual practice.
