The attainment of “Calm Abiding” (Skt. śamatha) is described in Buddhism on the basis of the “Nine Levels of Meditative Concentration”.
The seminar focuses on the explanation of these levels, the theory and practice of concentrated meditation. We receive instructions for the development of focused attention, mindfulness, stability and clarity of mind. The aim is the implementation of one’s own meditation practice and the realization of how peace and happiness increase in the mind along with increased mental stability.
