17 – 21 November 2021 · Wed, 3pm – Sun, 1pm
His Holiness the Dalai Lama has recommended specifically performing the practice of Green and White Tara to promote a faster end or better course of the Covid pandemic.
White Tara represents health and long life, Green Tara represents active and boundless compassion. Prayers and invocations to these meditation deities bring immeasurable benefits to oneself and others, promoting personal success and helping to realize one’s dreams. In addition, this practice also benefits future lives.
Our revered teacher Lama Geshe TenDhar will explain the different aspects and levels of Tara practice and guide us in the practice together based on traditional Buddhist texts. Furthermore, the visualizations of the deities and the mantra recitations will be explained.
This is a precious opportunity to receive these teachings from an authentic meditation master and to practice under his guidance!
Participation in the retreat is possible for anyone who wishes to integrate or deepen this practice in their daily life or, more generally, to gain insight into how to practice with meditation deities in Buddhism. Online participation is also possible upon request.
The teachings will be given by Lama Geshe TenDhar in Tibetan with interpretation into German. Recitations will be mainly in German.
