Christof Spitz

Christof Spitz is the director of the Tibetan Center in Hamburg and leads seminars and workshops. Furthermore he is also interpreter for Tibetan and for many years he has been the translator of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Since 1979 he is buddhist and was a monk for 13 years (from 1981 until 1994).

He is a co-founder of the Systematic Buddhist Studies at the Hamburg Tibet Center and has translated and edited all written study material. He has also translated the essential classic texts of the Geshe-studies.
