Dr. Tsering Wangdue

was born in the Western part of Tibet (Ngari) in 1974 and belongs to a family of practitioners of Traditional Tibetan Medicine since many generations. He started to learn medicine from his father at the age of 13 and began his studies at the medical school of Ngari Men-Tsee-Khang. From the age of 17 he practiced medicine under the Men-Tsee-Khang branch clinic in Ngari. In 1992 he escaped to India and graduated from the Tibetan medical College in Dharamsala in 2001. From 2003 to 2006 he served as Resident Doctor in various Men-Tsee-Khang branch clinics in India. In 2007 he was appointed as a lecturer in Men-Tsee-Khang. He has written many articles on issues of promoting health and awareness of AIDS.
